We are so excited to see Tracy & Dustin’s Catalina View Gardens wedding featured over on Love Toast!  This wedding had the most amazing details, all hand crafted by the talented bride herself, so it’s no shock that this wedding was picked up by a blog.  Our film is at the bottom of the post.  As you are scrolling to watch their film again be sure to check out the stunning work of Figlewicz Photography.  Andrea and Casey are so talented with the way they capture love and light.  We had a blast working with them and wish we could work beside them for every wedding!

We are beyond excited to see Ian & Melissa’s Miramonte Wedding featured over on Style Unveiled.  We have been a fans of Style Unveiled for a while now and have been so eager to be a part of such an elite group of wedding professionals that are featured on that blog.  But never in my wildest dreams did we think that our photography would be featured there!  We provide photography to very close friends and family.  (Melissa, if you don’t recall, is a good friend of mine from my acting years.)  We don’t do it for everyone, so it’s such a delight to see that work featured!  Thanks again to Heather Hoesch of LVL Events for all the work you have done on Melissa & Ian’s wedding.  Please scroll through these images and, most importantly, read about what Melissa had to say about her wedding.  My favorite part, you ask?  Her words on Couture Motion of course!

“I’m not the kind of girl who fantasized about her wedding, but before I met my groom, I knew I wanted Couture Motion to film my wedding.  Ian (the OTHER Ian) and Megan are friends of mine and I’ve followed their wedding blog and always cry at every video.  Their work is cinematic art.  Choosing Couture Motion was the easiest decision we made.  I thought having friends take photos and video would make me more comfortable because I knew them, but I never noticed them around.  When we viewed our 5 minute highlight/movie trailer, I had no idea they were around and they captured so many special moments.  They have a gift for being invisible and yet being around for every moment.”

Grey Likes Weddings: Grey Collective Member

We like Grey.  And apparently Grey likes us!!  We are so extremely honored to be a part of The Collective over at Grey Likes Weddings.  We discovered Grey Likes Weddings three years ago.  On a whim we submitted Jackie & Jamison’s wedding film and it was featured!  Later we had submitted Jayme & Mitchell’s wedding and we were honored (and totally agreed) with the title “Why a Videographer Should be On Your Must Have List.”  Fast forward to today and we are ecstatic to announce that we are now a member of the Grey Collective!  We love this blog and this collection of wedding professionals.  Grey Likes Weddings is such a wonderful, smart, stylish, chic, and cutting edge place for brides!  Check it out while you are checking out our profile!!

Style Me Pretty: Little Black Book Member

It has been a crazy year (both for the business and our life).  Ian and I were in the midst of one of our busiest months this year when he woke me up at the crack of dawn.  (Ian is a much earlier riser than I am.)  I rolled over and said, “Why are you waking me up?!  It’s too early!”  Ian replied in a whisper, “I figured I could wake you up for this…we just received an invitation to join Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book!”  I shot straight up,  “WHAT?!  For reals?!”  And that’s when I grabbed my phone to read the invitation email.

Style Me Pretty is the end all be all of wedding blogs.  To be a part of their highly exclusive Little Black Book is a huge honor for us.  We were shocked that this happened so soon (this year being only our second full season) and we are utterly grateful that Style Me Pretty had been secretly watching our work!  Check out our listing.

Giddy.  I think the proper word is giddy.  When I saw that Jayme & Mitchell’s Backyard Wedding was published over on Grey Likes Weddings…I was giddy.  And the title was what made me giddy.  “Why a Videographer Should Be On Your Must Have List.” Because I totally believe this, and not just because I love making wedding films.  But because Ian and I did not get a wedding film.  At the time we got married the wedding videography market had nothing that was artistically where we wanted it to be.  There were no “films” yet.  But NOW THERE ARE!  And like Grey said, a lot of couples are moving videography off the “wish list” and onto the “must list.”  My favorite line you ask?  “Scrap the lobster!  We’re going for the videographer!”

Style Me Pretty is the end all be all of wedding blogs.  The Queen Bee of the blog wedding scene!  Ever since Ian and I started this business it has been a dream of mine to have a film appear on this blog.  So as you can imagine when we saw that Jonathan & Francine’s Long Branch wedding was on the front page on SMP’s Little Black Book Blog we were ecstatic…thrilled…jumping-out-of-our-seats excited!  I think Eddie, one of our interns, thought I was a little crazy…but I didn’t care.  This is SMP people!  Moving on.

Shout out to  Turn Loose the Art‘s killer photos and Adrienne over at Bespoke Affairs for her sexy South Beach design.  Ian and I absolutely LOVE Fran & Jon.  They are just the best.  If you haven’t seen their film, be sure to watch as their wedding day was full of so much fun.  Our film is at the end.  Make sure to leave some comment love…
