We just love when our couples continue to get love for their wedding, especially when their as amazing as Hailey & Kyle’s wedding. Their wedding was featured over on Love Luxe Life about a month ago. We are so excited to see Tracy & Dustin’s Catalina View Gardens wedding featured over on Love Toast! This wedding had the most amazing details, all hand crafted by the talented bride herself, so it’s no shock that this wedding was picked up by a blog. Our film is at the bottom of the post. In the wedding industry, professionals love to get published online and in print. It’s definitely a validating experience to see your work picked up by magazines and blogs. There are a couple publications and blogs out there that are held on a pedestal. Martha Stewart Weddings happens to be one of them. So we are beyond ecstatic to announce that a film we made has been published over on Martha Stewart Weddings website.
A couple years ago we were approached to make a film about the design and creation of a wedding dress. But not just any wedding dress. This dress was being designed and created by the talented Kirstie Kelly. The dresses that Kirstie Kelly designs are so whimsical, romantic, and downright gorgeous. Now you might wonder who this wedding dress was being designed for. We were so excited to find out that it was to be worn by Summer Watkins, the stylist and wedding blogger behind Grey Likes Weddings. We love when we get to do something new and make a film we’ve never made before. This behind-the-scenes look felt like it was right out of Project Runway. We were so intrigued by this creative process and ate it up! We have been waiting (literally) years to share this film with you all! Without further ado…

Happy August everyone!! Where has this summer gone?! Ian and I are in the middle of our busiest time of our season and are crossing the coasts for our weddings, quite literally. And you know what that means? Lots and lots emotional wedding films coming your way! But in the midst of this busy time, we are so thrilled and delighted to see Joey & Anabel’s wedding featured over on Style Me Pretty California. We absolutely loved this wedding full of family, love, tears, and happiness. The feature also showcases some amazing images by Sara and Rocky Photography with beautiful stylings by Jill LaFleur. We are beyond excited to see Ian & Melissa’s Miramonte Wedding featured over on Style Unveiled. We have been a fans of Style Unveiled for a while now and have been so eager to be a part of such an elite group of wedding professionals that are featured on that blog. But never in my wildest dreams did we think that our photography would be featured there! We provide photography to very close friends and family. (Melissa, if you don’t recall, is a good friend of mine from my acting years.) We don’t do it for everyone, so it’s such a delight to see that work featured! Thanks again to Heather Hoesch of LVL Events for all the work you have done on Melissa & Ian’s wedding. “I’m not the kind of girl who fantasized about her wedding, but before I met my groom, I knew I wanted Couture Motion to film my wedding. Ian (the OTHER Ian) and Megan are friends of mine and I’ve followed their wedding blog and always cry at every video. Their work is cinematic art. Choosing Couture Motion was the easiest decision we made. I thought having friends take photos and video would make me more comfortable because I knew them, but I never noticed them around. When we viewed our 5 minute highlight/movie trailer, I had no idea they were around and they captured so many special moments. They have a gift for being invisible and yet being around for every moment.”
We like Grey. And apparently Grey likes us!! We are so extremely honored to be a part of The Collective over at Grey Likes Weddings. We discovered Grey Likes Weddings three years ago. On a whim we submitted Jackie & Jamison’s wedding film and it was featured! Later we had submitted Jayme & Mitchell’s wedding and we were honored (and totally agreed) with the title “Why a Videographer Should be On Your Must Have List.” Fast forward to today and we are ecstatic to announce that we are now a member of the Grey Collective! We love this blog and this collection of wedding professionals. Grey Likes Weddings is such a wonderful, smart, stylish, chic, and cutting edge place for brides! Remember Jerry & Natasha and the awesomeness that was their day? I mean how could you forget. To this day we still talk about the amazing design and the extraordinary team behind their day.
